We are excited for our future of Pitt Greensburg Softball. We recently had our first practice on our brand new softball field located here on campus, which will be one of the finest complexes anywhere you go.
Also, after struggling at times last year to field a team, our 2011 recruiting class is on campus and we are very excited about the possibilities, as we feel this year we will be able to compete for a play-off spot.
The team returns first team all conference player in Danielle Straub from Pennsbury High School, and also back is third team all conference member Kelly Daniels, who broke the school mark for steals in a season last year and tied the conference record in the process.
